Cold Night Shelter

We Are West Pasco County’s Cold Night Shelter

When Pasco County’s Office of Emergency Management calls, we are ready! Cold night shelters open in Pasco County when there is a risk of temperatures droppig below 36 degrees F, with or without wind chill, for a period of four hours or more. Several local churches provide volunteers, and Joining Hands Mission UMC provides the warm building to shelter our neighbors from the cold. Sleeping mats, blankets, food and beverages are also provided.

See us in action as broadcast on WFLA-8 on January 1, 2018:

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” (Psalms 91:1-2)
